Square: 1080×1080. Portrait: 1080×1350. Landscape: 1080×566. Stories and reels: 1080×1920.
What size is an Instagram profile picture?
320×320 displays at most sizes; 110×110 in feed. Use 320×320 to be safe.
Does Instagram support 4K photos?
No. Instagram caps photos at 1080px on the longest side. Larger images get downscaled and re-encoded.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Downsizing is mostly lossless. The output JPG is then encoded — quality is preserved at 85%+ settings.
