Why is there a 30-second limit?
Reversing a video requires decoding and holding every frame of the processed span in memory before it can play backwards, so a long clip can exhaust your browser's available memory. Capping full reversals at 30 seconds and 50MB keeps this reliable; use range mode to reverse a short clip out of a longer video instead.
Can I reverse just part of a longer video?
Yes — enable 'Reverse only a selected range' and pick a start and end time up to 30 seconds apart. Only that portion is decoded and reversed, so the source video itself can be longer.
Why does reversed audio sound strange?
Audio waveforms aren't symmetrical, so playing them backwards changes their pitch and rhythm in ways that don't match normal speech or music patterns — that's why reversed voices often sound garbled or otherworldly. Mute the reversed audio if you'd rather keep the video silent.
