What video formats are supported?

What's the difference between Single Frame and Multiple Frames mode?
Single Frame lets you scrub to one exact moment and capture it instantly. Multiple Frames extracts a whole set of frames automatically, either every few seconds or as a fixed number spread evenly across the video.
Why is my captured frame blurry?
A captured frame can only be as sharp as the source video — if the original was recorded or compressed at a low resolution or bitrate, that softness carries over into the still image. Choosing PNG avoids adding any further compression artifacts on top of it.
How many frames can I extract at once?
Extraction is capped at 200 frames per run to keep the browser responsive. If your interval or count would produce more than that, the result is limited to the first 200 and a notice lets you know — pick a longer interval or a smaller count to spread coverage across the whole video.
Should I choose PNG or JPG for video frames?
PNG is lossless and best when you'll edit or zoom into the frame later. JPG produces a much smaller file with an adjustable quality slider, which is usually the better choice for sharing or extracting many frames at once.
