What happens if my files have different sample rates?
The joiner automatically resamples every clip to match the highest sample rate among your files, and upmixes mono clips to match the widest channel count, so everything lines up sample-for-sample before joining — no manual conversion needed.
What does the crossfade do?
It overlaps the end of one clip with the start of the next using an equal-power fade, so the volume stays smooth and constant through the transition instead of dropping out and back in. Leave it at 0 seconds for a hard, instant cut.
Can I join files of different formats?
Yes. You can mix MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC, AAC, Opus, and WebM files freely — each is decoded to raw audio before joining, so the format differences are resolved automatically.
