The Object Remover erases unwanted things from your photos: a stranger in the background, a power line, a date stamp, a logo on your own product shot, or a blemish. You paint over the area and an AI inpainting model (MI-GAN) redraws it from the surrounding pixels, so the background continues naturally. The model runs on your device, so your photo is never uploaded.
Is the Object Remover free?
Yes. It's completely free with no sign-up, no watermark on your download, and no limit on how many photos you edit.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The AI model runs inside your browser, so your photo stays on your device the whole time. The only download is the model itself, the first time you use the tool.
What can I remove from a photo?
Anything you can paint over: people or tourists in the background, cars, wires, trash, date stamps, text, stickers, skin blemishes, or dust spots. It works best on objects in front of skies, walls, grass, water, and other fairly even backgrounds.
Can I use it to remove a watermark?
It can erase text and logos from images you own or have the rights to edit, such as your own product shots or photos with an old date stamp. Removing a watermark from someone else's photo so you can use it without permission can break copyright law, so license that image instead.
Does it reduce my photo's quality?
No. Only the painted area is changed; every other pixel stays exactly as it was, and you download at the original resolution in the same format. Very large photos over about 16 megapixels are scaled down to fit browser limits.
How do I get a cleaner result?
Paint a little past the object's edges, including its shadow. For big objects, remove them in several smaller passes instead of one huge stroke, since large areas are filled at lower detail. If a fill looks wrong, press Undo and paint the area again.
The AI model is downloaded once and runs entirely in your browser. Your photos are processed on your device and never sent to a server.
