Frequently Asked Questions
Does cropping a PDF reduce the file size?

Will cropping change how the PDF looks when reopened in other PDF readers?
Most modern viewers and printers respect the crop box, so the file will look the same everywhere. A handful of older or non-compliant tools may still render the full original page, so it's worth a quick check if the PDF needs to display correctly in a specific niche application.
Can I undo a crop after downloading?
Not directly, since the download is a separate file. Keep your original PDF as a backup — cropping never overwrites it, so you can always re-upload the original and crop again with different values.
Does cropping really delete the content outside the crop area?
No. Cropping only hides content outside the crop box when the file is viewed or printed — the original page data is still embedded in the PDF and can be restored by resetting the crop box.
